Siemens Communications unlocks the power of change for partners and customers
Publication date: Monday, 16 May 2005

A special two-day event taking place in Central London will provide a unique insight into the changing communications environment and the power it unlocks for businesses. Summit 05 has been organised by Siemens Communications for its partners and customers, to demonstrate how advances in technologies such as unified communications, fixed mobile convergence and VoIP can radically change and improve the way that organisations communicate.

Aimed at senior level decision makers within end-user customers, indirect channel partners, resellers and independent consultants, this event, to be held at the London Metropole on 24th and 25th May, will communicate the challenge and value that business change can bring to any organisation. In particular, Summit 05 will increase awareness of how communications technology can optimise an organisation’s decision-making process, strengthen relationships with customers and enhance productivity.

Summit 05 will commence on both days with plenary presentations from industry analysts, CIOs and senior Siemens Communications Enterprise Networks executives, including:

Bernd Kuhlin, President – Enterprise Systems, Siemens Communications
Graham Walker, UK Managing Director, Siemens Communications
Paul Sloane, IT consultant and author
Larry Velez, Senior Analyst, Forrester Research
Richard O’Brien, founding partner of strategic management consultancy, Outsights

“All organisations go through change; in fact, how well an organisation embraces change is a measure of its success,” says Paul Moulds, Marketing Director, Siemens Communications. “Summit 05 will enable delegates to hear, share and debate the issues surrounding the adoption of new technologies and business processes whilst identifying how they can add value to their business.”

The opening day of Summit 05 (Tuesday 24th May) will address channel partners, outline Siemens Communications’ future strategies and highlight new potential opportunities.

The second day (Wednesday 25th May) is aimed at decision makers of communication solutions within the public and private sectors, and will include a series of 16 targeted interactive sessions that run across four parallel streams, themed around some of today’s challenging business issues, delegates will be able to select the sessions of most value to them.
