China’s Zombie PCs

Hackers are turning personal computers in China into “zombies” faster than anywhere else in the world, researchers at CipherTrust said Wednesday.

Each day some 150,000 computer users lose control of their machines to attackers. More than 20 percent of those computers are located in China, statistics show. Computers that can be remotely controlled by hackers are called “zombies.”
