IBM Offers Tarantella Linux Global Desktop

Tarantella's Secure Global Desktop Enterprise Edition remote access offering for Linux will be sold alongside IBM's eServer xSeries and BladeCenter systems, the company has revealed.

Providing a combination of IBM hardware and the Tarantella software will raise the credibility of Linux in enterprises by allowing companies to preconfigure systems "off the shelf" with the Linux remote access system, according to Tarantella.
