SMEs ill-equipped for IT security

The PCWB report reveals 57% of SMEs feel unprepared to handle the consequences of hackers, viruses and other security attacks on their company technology.

Many also confess that just coping with the day-to-day running of computer systems is a problem.

One in three IT managers admit their working week is regularly extended by between three and five hours due to unforeseen tech problems, while 27% spend an extra one or two hours dealing with IT issues.
