Looking to break into Sand Hill Road, venture capital’s main drag? Rob Markovich thinks he knows how. A cruise up venture capital’s famed thoroughfare shows that even if Silicon Valley’s VCs think they “get” wireless security, not all of them have grasped it. Many of the top firms have left the barn door wide open.

Fortunately, Mr. Markovich and his company, Network Chemistry, are more interested in helping protect against the threat of airborne intruders than in hacking into the business plans of potential rivals or internal correspondence about deal flow.
