SANS reports greetings scam

The SANS Institute is warning of an increased threat to users from Trojan remote access programs installed by web links to emailed greetings messages, such as postcards.

The SANS Institute said it was monitoring increased use of such scams by hackers looking to install remotely controlled malware on users’ machines.
