Car RFID Tags Cracked IT-Observer.com Reader comments OK - come on... an hour to crunch the numbers... seems a lot of risk for the reward and will the car still be there in an hour? Although maybe the crooks can use themselves RFID to track where the car went and in an hour get it at the new destination... of course, then that would drive yet another market opportunity for RFID -- I say, if they want my car that bad, let the insurance co pay for it, isn't that why you have insurance in the first place? - BLM Ford's spokesman is pretty funny in a pathetic kind of way. With this type of code cracking available to car thieves, flat-deck trucks as car theft devices would be rendered pretty much obselete! - Johnny |
