Intego Announces Tiger Compatibility For All Its Internet Security Software

Intego Software is Tiger Compatible and Ready to Roar
Austin, Texas, April 21, 2005 - Intego, the Macintosh security specialist, today announced that all its software is now available in Tiger-compatible versions. In preparation for Apple's release of Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger, Intego has updated all its programs to ensure that it is safe to use the Internet with Apple's new operating system.
Users with the appropriate subscriptions will be able to download the latest versions of all Intego programs using NetUpdate, Intego's Internet updating utility, which is installed as a preference pane in the Mac OS X System Preferences. Users simply need to open NetUpdate and check for new software, then download and install the Tiger-compatible versions of the programs they use. These updates will be available on April 29, 2005.

Intego recommends that, as always when upgrading an operating system, users perform a full backup of their data before upgrading to Tiger.
