Quixtar Implements Pci Compliant Version Of Isd's Payment Processing Software

HOLLAND, MI -- 01/13/2006 -- ISD Corporation today announced that Quixtar has recently implemented a PCI compliant version of its payment processing software. Quixtar, a leading online health and beauty retailer, has been managing its payment transactions with ISD's payment switch for several years.

The new Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard is in effect, and any merchant processing, transmitting or storing credit card data is required to be compliant. The standard consists of network security and business practice guidelines developed by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card to establish a minimum security standard for the protection of cardholders' account and transaction information.

"It was a pleasure to work with the ISD team as part of our larger PCI compliance project," explained Bijoy K. Pananghat, IT Project Manager at Quixtar. "Implementing a PCI compliant version of ISD's software was a major milestone in our overall effort to achieve full PCI compliance."

ISD's suite of products enables merchants to consolidate, manage and route all electronic transactions from their point-of-sale systems to third party processors for authorization and settlement. Handling virtually any electronic payment type, ISD's software has been integrated with over 150 different third party processors.

"We are thrilled to have collaborated with Quixtar on their PCI compliance project," stated John Filby, President and CEO of ISD Corporation. "All of ISD's products have been certified by Visa as Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) compliant in accordance with the PCI standards. Our early certification as a PABP compliant software vendor reflects our ongoing commitment to technological leadership in our market."

"Clearly, Quixtar is a thought leader when it comes to the importance of data security," commented Todd Cinnamon, VP of Engineering for ISD. "Our new encryption algorithms provide secure data transmission and storage along with tools for seamless integration with POS encryption schemes and historical data encryption -- it is true end to end encryption of all payment data."
