Email content management service now to be known as SpheriQ Mail

Oxford, 11 October 2005 - Concise has announced that, from October 2005, its messaging solutions service provider, SpheriQ, becomes a separate organisation dedicated to supplying channel partners with its portfolio of products and services. SpheriQ focuses on providing intelligent messaging solutions, and this organisational change will enable it to work with the best security integrators and messaging specialists. As a company Concise has a turnover of £7.2 million.

Brigitte Brun, Business Development Director of SpheriQ explains the change: “SpheriQ was initially designed to meet the needs of large enterprises and has sold extremely successfully in this sector through developer and integrator INSL. Currently the majority of our customers have more than 8,000 seats. By establishing SpheriQ as a solutions provider in its own right we can deliver a more comprehensive service to our other channel partners, which will help us reach our target market of companies from 500 seats to well over 10,000.”

Both INSL and the new SpheriQ will remain part of the Concise Group, and the backing of Concise will enable SpheriQ to enhance its infrastructure and its services. The 24x7 support, Level 2 and Level 3 teams have already been considerably extended, and SpheriQ now has a dedicated staff of 50. SpheriQ Mail currently incorporates a number of anti-virus, anti-spam and filtering tools alongside a flexible policy management solution, and is also set to launch add-on services such as SpheriQ Web, a managed web filtering service; SpheriQ Mobile, a managed email service for BlackBerry users; SpheriQ Personal Web Mail; SpheriQ Disaster Recovery and SpheriQ Archiving.

SpheriQ currently manages more than 5 million emails per week, and more than 150,000 users around the globe rely on the SpheriQ Mail service to maintain and manage their email systems.
