FrontBridge Continues Aggressive Global Expansion; Targets New Office in Paris and Data Centres to Meet Significant Demand Across Europe

PARIS – 23 May, 2005 – FrontBridge Technologies today announced the opening of its Paris office, the latest step in a global expansion initiative by the leading provider of secure managed messaging services. The Paris office will operate as FrontBridge’s southern European headquarters, serving customers in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Israel. To coincide with the Paris office opening, FrontBridge has launched new data centres in Paris as well as Frankfurt, Germany.

“We’ve experienced incredible demand for FrontBridge services in southern and central Europe, which created a necessity for us to establish a new base of operations here,” said Craig Whitney, director of EMEA for FrontBridge. “We are confident this expansion will position us to meet new opportunities and better serve our existing customers in a market that greatly needs secure messaging services.”

This latest expansion will aid FrontBridge in supporting its extensive partner network across Europe, including OEM providers such as IBM Global Services, Equant, Sprint and VeriSign, and technology reseller partners including Infratects.

“FrontBridge has built a strong network of partners in Europe including those that have private-labelled our services,” Whitney continued. “This strategy gives us a tremendous leg up in the region that is only strengthened with support from our local offices.”

In co-ordination with its partner support, FrontBridge has also recently translated all its end-user interfaces, including email notifications and quarantine notices, into the following languages: German, French, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Built upon a state-of-the-art network architecture, FrontBridge's messaging services deploy advanced techniques for filtering unwanted message content that is supported by continuous management services. The network provides a front line of defence and a protective bridge between the Internet and customer networks, filtering inbound and outbound email traffic, blocking unsolicited inbound email, cleaning all traffic for viruses and other malicious content, and protecting customer's email infrastructure from external attacks and threats. Its comprehensive Total Message Management portfolio includes services for spam filtering, virus scanning, policy and content enforcement, message archiving and encrypted email.

FrontBridge’s global network of eight data centres, strategically located at key points across the internet, is the only network to demonstrate 100 percent historical uptime. The service guarantees 99.999 per cent system availability.

In addition to Paris and Frankfurt, FrontBridge has also expanded to locations across the globe including Los Angeles and Santa Clara, California; London, England; and Winnipeg, Canada.
