AT&T offers security news service




AT&T on Wednesday launched a 24x7 security news service that streams to its Internet service customers. The news channel includes regular programs with security issues such as worms that AT&T deems important for its customers.

"We're building a security geek channel," said AT&T CSO Ed Amoroso during his keynote address at Interop New York, during which he announced the service.

The regular programs include lectures on technologies, interviews with Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and daily news updates.
