Thursday, 27 October 2005 19:13 ESTFormer Hewlett-Packard chief executive Carly Fiorina joins the board of directors of the information security company Cybertrust. The Virginia-based company provides outsourcing and technological services that address vulnerability management, compliance and identity management.
"Cybertrust is honored to have Carly Fiorina serve on our Board of Directors. She brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and insight into how technology impacts businesses and governments, and her leadership and management experience will be a tremendous asset to the company," said John Becker, CEO of Cybertrust.
Prior joining Cybertrust, Fiorina served as chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005 and its chairman of the board. Her future in the technology market has been a hot issue since she left HP earlier this year.
"Information security will be a key driver of growth and innovation in the technology industry for years to come, and Cybertrust is uniquely positioned to lead the global security market," stated Fiorina.
"I am looking forward to serving on its Board of Directors and helping the company to continue its growth and expand its services offerings to customers worldwide,” she said.
