Amendment to Intego appointment - David Loomstein


Intego, the Macintosh security specialist, today announced the appointment of David Loomstein as US Senior Business Development Manager. David will be responsible for developing Intego sales and strategic business alliances, including software licensing bundles, OEM software bundles, premiums, product promotions and marketing.

Prior to joining Intego, David held several positions at Symantec. He spent four years as the Group Product Manager and Unit Team Leader for the Macintosh Product Unit. Within this role, David managed the core product team and day-to-day business activities. He provided vision and guided international business strategies for Antivirus products, drove all new product development and managed all platform business relationships. In addition, he developed the business plan and technology strategy for the company's Consumer Digital Rights Management Program. He also held the positions of Senior Product Manager for the Norton Consumer Product range; Manager of Multimedia Development, Security and Assistance Business Unit; and Manager, Macintosh Technical Writing for the Security & Assistance Business Unit.
