AmbironTrustWave Limited Listed as Qualified Security Assessor for Visa Europe

Firm hires Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa Established US-based security and compliance provider, moves into the UK

23 August 2005 – AmbironTrustWave Limited, a leading data security and compliance service provider has been accredited as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) by Visa Europe. The company will provide Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard compliance services to any entities in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe which process and/or transmit cardholder information.

Visa Europe has selected AmbironTrustWave and the company’s web-based assessment and compliance management solution, Trustkeeper®, to validate the compliance of merchants and payment service providers with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. From, 30th June 2005, all businesses that store, transmit, or process credit card transactions must comply with PCI to maintain transaction processing privileges.

TrustKeeper® will ensure that all payments that pass through Visa Europe’s payment supply chain comply with this standard; it will pinpoint any weaknesses in security policies and enhances the protection of customer data, providing an additional level of security and certainty for Visa Europe’s customers.
