FREE Network Security Check to Help UK Business Overcome Hacker Threat

In response to the British Government warning of the increased problem of hacking, especially from overseas, in an alert issued by the National Infrastructure Security Co-ordination Centre (NISCC), Redbucket ICT & E-Business Advice are offering free network security checks to UK businesses.

A series of trojanised email attacks are targeting UK Government and companies. The attackers’ aim appears to be covert gathering and transmitting of commercially or economically valuable information. The most worrying aspect of these attacks is that anti-virus software and firewalls do not give complete protection. Trojans can communicate with the attackers using the same channels as web browsing and email and can be modified to avoid anti-virus detection.

Andrew Rozzier, Consultant Director of Redbucket ICT & E-Business Advice, who are electronic security experts and distributor’s of the security system, Finjan Internet 1Box, said

“Through careful management and increased awareness the problems of hacking can be managed.

“However, it only takes one forgetful staff member to render all protection impotent through opening an infected email.

“Security lapses and not keeping up to date with a protection strategy could cost your business money and worse still customers.

“In the same way your premises might have a security alarm, an equivalent system like the Finjan Internet 1Box attached to your computer network would be a prudent investment.

“As an introduction to our services we are offering a free network security check that will produce a concise report which we will provide free of charge with no obligation to engage our services.”
