E-commerce most-targeted for attack

Cyber attackers are launching more sophisticated attacks for financial gain with exploits that are being created easier and faster than ever before, and their single biggest target is e-commerce.

These are some of the key findings in security vendor Symantec’s latest bi-annual “Internet Security Threat Report” on trends in internet attacks, vulnerabilities and malicious code activity between January and June this year.
