WLAN Can Leave Personal Info Unprotected


Your personal information could be floating through the air right now, invisible to your eye but clear as day to people who know how to find it. Wireless computer networks are becoming hugely popular, but along with convenience comes yet another way for people to peer into your privacy. Like workers at a construction site, Doug Rehman's computer whistles at what it likes and his computer liked what it saw. Rehman's laptop ogled dozens of naked wireless networks scattered throughout homes in a northwest Seminole county neighborhood.
