OSS Frightens Microsoft


According to Microsoft, the alliance did not disclose any sign to overturn Windows. At least, Microsoft (China) believes that Chinese state government has no intention to evict Microsoft from the Chinese market. "We are friends with Chen Chong and Jiang Guangzhi," said an official from Microsoft (China). "Do you come to pull Microsoft out of fire?" Steve Ballmer was asked when he visited China on October 20 last year.

Before coming to China, he stayed in Japan for several days. And high-ranking officials from the two countries and from South Korea discussed the possibility of building a Linux operating system together two and a half months ago.

Steve Ballmer denied this, and said his visits to Japan and China had been scheduled already, rather than come to persuade the two countries to give up the plan.
