Anti-virus software storms charts

The recent Mydoom virus has proved to be good news for the makers of anti-virus software. Norton Internet Security 2004 has become the highest ranked non-game title in the UK games charts ever, climbing up three places to number two. But it failed to dethrone Electronic Art's Need for Speed: Underground, which retains the top spot for a sixth week. In a slow week for sales, there was little change elsewhere in the top 10, apart from Mafia climbing up to number six thanks to the release of the PlayStation 2 version.
