400 Voip Providers Already In North America
Monday, 22 November 2004 16:02 EST
Scottsdale, Arizona, November 22, 2004: Over 400 VoIP Service Providers are already fighting for new subscribers and market share in the exploding North American VoIP marketplace, according to VoIPAction.
The VoIP North America Directory has just been published containing over 400 Service Providers and 450 VoIP Carrier Network and Equipment Suppliers in the U.S. and Canada, including business name, web site address, contact person, email address and telephone number.
Chris Lewis, Founder of VoIPAction said: “VoIP is so new to the Internet that the Search Engines and Directories have not caught up with the industry growth, and probably won’t for at least another 12 months. In answer to this we conducted a large amount of online research to compile these Directories which now make it easier for businesses in the VoIP marketplace to connect with each other and build mutually profitable relationships”.
“With the FCC’s November 9, 2004 announcement that Internet Telephony calls are Interstate in nature and thus subject to Federal jurisdiction, this clearly opens up the marketplace to even more competition, lower prices and more consumer choice. We can expect to see many new product and service offerings from existing and new VoIP vendors as the competition heats up”.
The VoIP Directory is available for purchase online at http://www.voipaction.com/industry.php. Data is delivered in Excel format allowing fast and easy importing to contact managers or email marketing platforms, or for sorting by e.g. telephone area code.
